PRESIDENT MWINYI MEETS ALFARDAN GROUP PRESIDENT TO DISCUSS INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN ZANZIBAR

President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, H.E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, met Mr. Omar Hussain Alfardan, President of Alfardan Group, in Doha, Qatar, on 8 October 2026 to discuss investment opportunities in Zanzibar.

The meeting, held at Alfardan Towers, focused on potential investment in key sectors including tourism, hospitality, real estate and trade.

The engagement forms part of Zanzibar’s broader efforts to attract strategic international investment, expand economic partnerships and support the development of priority sectors with strong potential to contribute to employment, business growth and long-term economic transformation.
